Lessons...
UQH provides lessons for everyone, from complete beginners to the more advanced rider, with either your horse or our own fully trained lesson horse. A lesson is usually an hour session when you can receive either one-to-one tuition or if you wish in a group, however UQH can generally accommodate should you have any special requirements. If it is not possible for you to travel to us UQH may be able to send a trainer to your premises depending upon circumstances. If you wish to take a horse out on a Hack, a member of the UQH Team will accompany you out on horseback, following a brief assessment* to ensure that you have the necessary riding ability to ensure safety.

Training...

UQH provides Western training livery services for all ages & breeds of horses. From starting young-stock to tuning up finished horses for the show-ring, UQH will endeavour to ensure that by following a tailor-made training program, the desired results can be achieved from your horse during a stay with us. By offering a range of Clinics, Lessons & Showing services UQH will help to make sure that your horse's training will continue to progress in the right direction once they have left our care.

Clinics...

UQH has a regular program of Clinics in varying disciplines of which current details are available on the Events Calendar page. Training events & demonstrations are held at a range of locations to increase availability to clients outside our immediate local vicinity. Should UQH receive a request & enough interest from a certain area we will be glad to provide Clinics at a relevant venue.

Horses To Buy Or Sell...

If you are looking for a new prospect UQH can help to find the right horse for you, or if you have horses to sell UQH are always willing to help. UQH often have good quality western riding horses for sale & have knowledge of other horses available elsewhere and as from 2006 will be producing a small number of home-bred youngstock. We can provide you with honest advice in your choice of horse and discuss the suitability of every prospect, at all stages of the buying or selling process. *Ridden & verbal assessment made by UQH Trainer to evaluate knowledge of safety aspects & competence on horseback. Immediate decision will be given & final. If a negative decision is made then a lesson will be offered as an alternative option.
